About this mod

This mod replaces the Wizard class with the much more bombastic Luchador. Heavily inspired by several massive wrestle men from the real world and fiction, including the real-world wrestler Tiger Mask and King from Tekken, the Luchador class encourages players to fight primarily with their spell bar rather than simple attacks.

Wizards are lame, so we killed both of the playable wizards and replaced them with the Luchador!

With this mod, players can play as Regent, the bulky, androgynous wrestler and actual regent of the keep from Act I. Charge your way through all three Acts and the Tower in order to take your territory back and, while you're at it, track down the gutless wretches responsible for all this, take their land, and rule it better than they ever could. When you pick the Luchador, you'll even have custom story text to accompany you on your journey!

The main gimmick of the Luchador is that they're a sidegrade to the Pugilist. Luchadores are strictly unarmed combatants, but are not specialized in delivering blows. Rather, Luchadores can choose nutty starter loadouts such as four Vital Strike skills in their spell bar, two Vital Strike skills and two Dash skills, as well as neat additions like Uppercut, Charge, and many other busted moves.

Luchadores excel taking on single opponents. However, when they encounter large groups, they'll often spend a lot of time running around, waiting for their Vital strikes to recharge. In addition, they don't have many skills to choose from. You can likely max out your Luchador's in a single act, which balances out the fact that they can hit you up to five times in a row without any repercussions. Along with that, any starter abilities that you pick, particularly physical skills, will remain glued in place in your hotbar until you either win or die.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but hey, it's a single player game. Who said it needed to be balanced?

Also, I probably won't be making any large updates to this mod, if at all. After all, I've got dragons to suplex.
