Cloaks of Faerûn

If you are updating from 2.1.2 (or prior) to 2.1.3, be sure to remove any equipped cloaks before updating to avoid any crashes! I'll do my best to prevent this from happening in the future, but no clue what has happened since Patch 4. :(

Everything is welcome, nothing is required. ❤

Overview
The base game of Baldur's Gate 3 offers only a handful of cloaks, as such leaves some people (me included) longing for more variety. The overall goal of this mod is to provide a wide array of unique cloaks, each with distinct effects and qualities. I aim to craft these effects from scratch, ensuring a fresh and immersive experience for players.
Cloak Images
As I am still adjusting some things, the images might not reflect exactly what is in the game. I will do my best to update them as I change them but I am very forgetful. Hopefully it wont be an issue!
Cloak Locations (Work in Progress)
Please note that the cloak locations are not yet final! I'm in the process of developing a comprehensive list of cloaks before finalizing their in-game placements. The current locations are merely placeholders as I experiment and refine my grand design. I appreciate your patience and understanding during this development phase as I work to create the best possible experience.

"I installed this mod in a later Act, can I still get these cloaks?"
Of course!
Popper will sell any cloaks you missed in previous acts.
These will ONLY show up if you never saw them at all (I think). For example, if you failed to purchase the uncommons from Talli then they might not appear for Gloomy.
(This is due to all capes that are sellable being flagged as unique, as I intend them to so multiple cannot be purchased)

As a last resort, the Clothing Shipment Crate can be spawned using it's UUID, this will have every cloak regardless of it being seen in the world before, allowing as many copies as you would like.

Future Additions
I'm committed to expanding the collection of cloaks in the mod, currently brainstorming ideas for additional cloaks, so they'll exist when I think of them.
Would also love to get any community input as to cloak ideas. All it takes is an idea and a model and I can make it happen if I think it's a worthy addition. Hopefully, there will come a day where more models exist that I can use to make more variety look wise, but as of now the only thing that would even come close is the basket mods, but I really don't think they fit the bill.

Feedback and Support
As this is my first Nexus Mods submission, I'll be actively monitoring the mod for any issues and balance suggestions. Your feedback and support are invaluable to me. Feel free to reach out with any comments or questions!

Translations
Unfortunately, I didn't multi-class into other languages and just went a full 20 levels into English. If there's anyone who wants to translate my mod, the translation file is separate on the downloads page, you can have at it. I will credit you down below somewhere if you do. Here's a decent  Translation Tutorial on how to provide a translation.

Current Translations:
French
Russian
Chinese

Current Add-Ons:
Invisible Cloaks: Simply add to your modlist below the main mod to hide all of the cloaks that this mod provides. This file will NEVER need to be updated, as it should work with every single version from 2.1.0 and onward.
(Shout out to F3ly for a random comment they made demonstrating how easy it is to make this type of modification.)

Tutorial Chest: Same as above, this will put the Clothing Crate into the Tutorial Chest for ease of access to all of the cloaks my mod provide from now and any new cloaks I add in the future. Still goes below the MAIN FILE in your modlist order (I don't think it actually matters, but if you're having any issues then having it load second is probably the solution). This file will NEVER need to be updated, as it should work with every single version from 2.1.0 and onward.

Installation
Simply drag and drop the file you download from your downloads folder directly into BG3 Mod Manager.
If you use Vortex, I cannot help you as I don't so I'm not sure what the proper protocol is for that one.
Once you add it to BG3 Mod Manager, simply add it to your mod order and export to game.
If you want to use a translation, make sure my mod is listed above the translation mod for it to work.
This goes as well for the Invisible Add-On, just place it below the main mod and it should just work.
Uninstalling should be just as easy as removing it and deleting it from your mod manager.
