N meu estava dando erro code 5, eu abaixei esses dois mods, SkyUI 5.2 SE plugin with Skyrim.esm Master added link https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/67166 e Sound Fix for Large Sector Drives link https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71567. Esso e também ter instalado o skse64 direto no vortex, ter iniciado o jogo ficado uns minutos e depois desabilitar o skse64 no vortex mais ter instalado ele na pata do jogo antes de fazer tudo isso. No meu caso funciono.
Hello ! I have a problem with SkyUi, which is that whenever i use it together with Racemenu, SkyUi gives me an error 5. I read somewhere that it RM overrights SkyUI and that the solution is to simply remove RM. Is there a way to have them both work together ?
this mod is amazing, usualy it works out of the box, but now on se version i get error 6 in favourites menu. it says required ver. 5.2 se but detected 4.1. now i dl the file from nexus with vortex, also installed trough vortex, troubleshoothing for error 6 is useles becouse there are no loose files and i didnt manualy install it. i reinstalled the thing a few times but it didnt fix it. what else can i do to try and fix this.
Is there a way to change R3 button for "set on group" on favorites? We've develop a mod for controller, but skyui makes the game crash when trying to set a magic into a group (not for weapons) The button is mappable for keyboard, doesn't appear on controller config. Also changing F (R3 on controller) to another key doesn't make the change for controller
when i installed JContainers SE it broke it and is normal. Does anyone have a fix? Edit: ok i fixed it but $mod configuration does not work at all. it is just almost blank
No matter what i do SkyUI just does not work. I already checked multiple times, i surely have SKSE installed properly (i have multiple other mods needing SKSE and they work), i 100% have the proper versions of everything installed (latest SKSE, SkyUI 5.2). Mods are deployed, i can locate SkyUI's files in the folders, there is no crash, no error, nothing. It just does not work - everything is enabled but the UI is still vanilla. Of course i start the game via SKSE launcher.
I even reinstalled everything following Wolfpack's guide, still nothing. Im running out of options here, any tips?
Im using Vortex, and im on Skyrim 1.6.640.0 (Steam Anniversary Edition).
I tried both installing SKSE manually and via dropping the archive into Vortex, no difference (other SKSE dependant mods still worked, UI didnt). I even installed the "Clean menu" mod to get rid of the Bethesda's "Mods" screen as i read in your guide that opening it can cause SkyUI to break.
I am very confused as i played a couple months ago with almost exactly same modlist, i was surely using this exact version of SkyUI and it worked perfectly.
Just yesterday I did a total wipe and format of all my SSDs and installed fresh windows (10 same as before), if that can be related in any way.
It is. Steam is running, and i just reinstalled the whole game again after completely wiping the files, including SKSE, following your guide exactly step by step, not a single input that was not described there.
I installed only SKSE and SkyUI (i also tried throwing in the Plugin With Master Added for 2nd attempt), and still same issue. SKSE loads properly, SkyUI in theory too (if i open the mods menu for bethesda i can see the sky_ui.esp there) but whole UI is still vanilla. Enabling other mods works fine and they load in and take effect as intended. I generally know what i'm doing when it comes to modding, i make mods myself for some other games, so i do realize how important all the little things details are and i know no error or crash happens without a reason.
I am just completely out of any ideas what could that reason be
Try setting up the skse64 shortcut in Vortex and launch from there. Also, is your Steam Library in /Program Files (x86)? If so, move your Steam Library to another location.
It is not, i have SteamLibrary with Skyrim on D drive, which was literally completely empty prior to Skryim installation on it due to the recent reset. Its the only folder on the drive with no Program Files anywhere nearby. I also added an exception for all Skyrim/Vortex folders in my Windows defender, just in case.
I tried setting up Vortex shortcut for SKSE launcher as you suggested, same result. I uninstalled the whole game again, installed SKSE and SkyUI manually (completely skipping any mod launcher) and it still does not work.
Okay, weird suggestion but try it. Install SkyUI 5.1 and then if it works, install SkyUI 5.2 to replace it. I am thinking there may be something in SkyUI that needs to kick in to activate it and perhaps the old version will do so.
Nope, 5.1 does not work either. Game loads, UI unchanged.
Im getting exactly same results no matter what configuration i try (loading other mods - all that i checked worked fine/loading only SKSE+skyUI) or if i install manually or by Vortex, if i add the Master plugin or not, the outcome is same - everything else works, the game loads and i can play, i see changes from other mods applying perfect, but UI stays vanilla.
If i try to add another mod dependant on SkyUI (ultrawide fix in this case) the game CTD's when i open pause menu/journal. Makes sense
I'm sorry this is so weird and taking so long but I am 99.9% certain I am doing everything correctly. I know it's not the mod's fault and there must be something wrong with my installation, but I have zero ideas left what it can be. I will just keep full wiping the game and mods files from my drive and reinstalling it all over again trying different setups, maybe it will work. Maybe my fresh Windows install is missing some crucial Skyrim/SKSE prequisite that i might not have installed yet and might not be stressed in the guides? I think even more it must be something with my fresh system here - as I said before, I was using almost exactly same modlist just a couple months ago, and everything was running fine. I dont remember having to do anything special back then other than installing SKSE manually and then installing other mods including SkyUI via Vortex.
Well I am incredibly amazed, baffled and mindf****d by why or how, as i used Vortex for couple years now and never had issues of this type, but after my friend insisting i decided to try MO2 instead. I installed this setup:
Worked like a charm, first try. I didnt add my other mods yet, but the exact same setup (using the same archives i have saved locally) loaded via Vortex did not work and was giving me the issue. Interestingly, for my friend it was not working with Vortex either (had same problem as me).
I am very sorry for taking up your time, and very grateful for the effort to help me!
EDIT No, im not using OneDrive, i specifically disabled it from starting with the system yesterday.
You tell me. I spent a lot of hours modding Skyrim, even back with the original game before SE came, then i played and modded on SE a lot too....
Never had anything like this happen. Makes me think something might be wrong with how Vortex installs SkyUI, but given how i used Vortex to install SkyUI and almost same modlist at the beggining of 2023 and had no issues, I cannot understand why would that be, or why would it not work with manual installation.
Well, thank you once again and have a great day/evening!
Is it possible to change the location of status effects? Instead of having them appear at the top right, they should appear at the bottom left, for example.
SkyUI inventory is taking too long to load. Yes, I have installed SKSE64 correctly (ver 2.2.3 rel 6; gog) I also tried turning off all other mods. Still no luck :")
I followed the wiki 10 times in a row today but no luck. It still takes longer to load inventory and shows "$" sign at mcm menu like this "$MOD CONFIGURATION" Now I don't know what to do :") After 6 years of break I wished I could have gotten back into Tamriel once again
I had the same issue, inventory was taking too long to open up and game was crashing on system menu.
For Skyrim AE on GOG, I had to use Skyrim Special Edition GOG and Epic Games Support - Mod Organizer 2.4.x under the Update files section. This fixed the problem.
Hello, sorry, i followed the guide closely and tried installing the needed version of SKSE from both external site and Vortex, i even tried installing all the recommended fixes but SkyUI just won't appear.
Skyrim A.E. version - 1.6.640.0.8 i believe. SKSE - 2.2.3 as recommended everywhere.
And the scripts are not loading (can't find MCM, SkyUI is not loading/working), try installing SkyUI 5.1, and NOT SkyUI 5.2. That's what fixed the problem for me even though supposedly the version of SkyUI shouldn't matter, the tutorial outright lied to me lmao.
Sorry, my friend, skill issue and install error on your end. 5.2 is working perfectly with skse 2.2.3 and game version 1.6.640 here and for thousands of others. Review your notes. Why would a tutorial lie to you? It's far more likely you didn't read carefully or made some other install or launch mistake.
Frankly, I installed SkyUI 5.2 too and it didn't work, I installed version 5.1 and now it works. I don't know if I did something wrong in the versions but honestly I'm okay with it, however I'm writing it here for those who will have the same problem.

then you are on GOG version using MO2, but havent got the MO2 GOG support update file on the MO2 nexus page.
